We spent a wonderful evening with the Bledsoes and the Bowens, some of our dearest friends, hanging out in the backyard…watching the kids play, listening to music, catching up, cooking out, and sharing a delicious meal.
It’s interesting…we all had babies close together…Jonas was born November 2008, Betsy’s son Henry was born May 2010, Xander was born July 2010, Lizza’s son Bennett was born August 2010, Lizza’s daughter Isabelle was born February 2012, and Roman and Betsy’s daughter Adelaide were born March 2012!!!
It was a goodbye cookout for the Bowens who are moving to Dallas at the end of the summer…I’m not even thinking about it right now because it makes me too sad. I just try to think about staying in touch and going to visit. Lizza’s daughter, Isabelle (pictured below sleeping beside Roman), is named after me…Isabelle Leigh…aw!!!…totally makes me cry…what a blessing. Thank God for good friends.
